Zuckertüte

In Germany when a child enters first grade, they recieve a so called "Zuckertüte". It is often filled with small presents, candy and school supplies and it is either handmade or bought. I made this piece as a way to reflect on the negative experiences and effects my school years have left me with. I took inspiration from the photos that were made on the day I entered first grade, especially the dress is a mixture of the dress I wore and the one my sister wore on her first day.
